Try Five workshops

Well it has been a very busy few weeks in Scoil Mhuire Senior! 

The children have been really enjoying their swimming lessons and have finished up in Coolmine before the mid-term break. They have become more confident swimmers and are having a lot of fun in the pool!

Recently, all of the 4th classes took part in the Try Five Workshops, working with scientists from TU Dublin in Grangegorman. The first workshop was all about miscroscopes and how to use them to observe the world around us. It was so much fun and the children really enjoyed it.  The scientists gave us a mini micrsocope which we can use in the classroom. We have another one coming up in November and the children are very excited!

We had the Halloween disco on the last day of term. It was lots of fun! Lily, Cleo and Evan won prizes for best dressed and best dancers.
