A very special mention to Mr. Henderson who is retiring from our school today after 39 years! What a pleasure it has been to work with him and I’m sure many families have some wonderful memories of him also. Many of our parents were students in his class over the years.

As a staff we would like to wish him all the very best for the next chapter. Go n-éirí an t-ádh leat.

• What a lovely morning this morning in the Resource Centre for our 6th class graduation. There were tears! Well done to all of the girls and boys in 6th class, you did yourselves proud.

• The whole school community wish them all the very best as they move on to a new chapter in their lives. Go néirí an t-ádh libh.

• 5th & 6th class pupils had a great day yesterday in Emerald Park. The new rides there were a big hit! Reminder that the 3rd classes are going to Fort Lucan tomorrow for their tour.

• This amazing sculpture has been on display in our hall this week. We certainly cannot ignore the elephant in this room! It has lead to some thought provoking discussions in some classrooms and provided inspriation for artwork.

• What a fantastic day we had for Sports Day last Thursday. Safe to say that everyone had a great time. Check out the photos in our GALLERY section, you're bound to see someone that you know! A special word of thaks to Ms. O'Mahony who organised the whole lot and made sure that it ran smoothly on the day.
