Parking on Blakestown Road
We are requesting that parents please do not drop off children in cars at the back entrance on Blakestown Road. Drop offs are causing a huge inconvenience to
residents in the area and it is also proving very dangerous and puts the safety of our pupils at risk. This morning (Wednesday), a child was almost struck by a car and the child arrived to school very distressed. On this occasion, thankfully no
serious injury occurred but unless we get the cooperation of all parents, a serious accident WILL occur and this could be YOUR child. All of us have a duty to
ensure that our pupils are safe coming to and leaving school.
Please drop off pupils in the church car park where there is a one way system in operation.

Christmas Food Appeal
Last year a lot of families across communities in this area celebrated Christmas with the help from people in this school.
This Christmas even more families need our help to put food on the table. You can make a change and help families who are struggling this Christmas. In place of buying Christmas presents for teachers, we are asking you to support the school food appeal as part of the SVP Food Appeal. Baskets will be left at the front of the school where parents/pupils may leave suitable food items for the Christmas Appeal. Please see newsletter for examples of such items. Last year, our Food Appeal was a great success and we are hoping for the same again this year!
