Ms. O'Shea''s class
Greetings from Ms O'Shea's 3rd Class. We are working very hard in all of our subjects and we have especially enjoyed learning about Ancient Egypt. We learnt a lot while researching for and making our projects. See the photos to see our projects and our space art.
We are listening to our class novel 'Mr Stink'. David Walliams narrates his own novel, which is really enjoyable to hear all his different voices for the different charachters. It is a very good novel to help us to learn to accept people as they are, not judge a person by how they look and be kind to others. The book fair has been in our school for the last week and the children have liked chosing from the wide variety of books on offer. Well done to the winners of the poster / book cover competition, Adam and Zaina who got to chose a book as a prize.
In Maths we have been working hard on our times tables and telling the time. Keep asking us the time so we can show you how well we have been doing. In PE we have started a 6 weeks well being course which will help us with our balance, strength and learning how to be still and calm - which can be a challenge for us all!!
We are looking forward to our school tour to Fort Lucan on Thursday 29th June.
