We've been busy in sixth class this October.
For Maths week we did a tonne of different activities. Firstly we took part in a Mega Maths quiz online which was a nice change to the usual pen and paper questions. In addition we also went to the Helix in DCU where we saw a Maths based Magic show. Finally we were invited to try out some Maths problems in Ms Byre's 4th class, which was great fun! In History, we have been learning all about the 'unsinkable ship,' TheTitanic, which we've really enjoyed, especially about how big the hole made by the iceberg in the ship, 100metres!
Ms. Gleeson's sixth class have been very busy this term, especially in preparation for Hallowe'en.
The children have done some amazing artwork focussing on their beautiful faces and showing a very different side to themselves.
Our Students of the Week (so far!) have been:
Nevaeh, Eva, Joannes, Mahir, Lacey, Denzel, and Alin -Congratulations!
