Ms. Gleeson'sClass
Céad mile fáilte to Rang Ms. Gleeson.
It’s all go in Rang a Sé these days in Scoil Mhuire Senior, with our Seachtain na Gaeilge activities, World Book day, and Book Fair to name just a few.
We had our 'Clean up,' day which was very informative as all kinds of things were found, including some 'interesting items.'
It's preparation time for our Confirmation in April which is coming up fast. Our weekly Wednesday visits to mass are a great preparation for the Confirmation, just before the Easter holidays.
We've had our Ceremony of Light in St Philip Apostle's church in Mountview in March, as well as the children making their Confessions in the school hall also. We're now busy with our Confirmation art and getting ourselves organised for the ceremony itself.
We’ve been learning about ‘An t’Earrach.' agus Lá Fhéile Phádraig. The children's ears are always peeled to learn extra helpful phrases and words, their enthusiasm is infectious and Seachtain na Gaeilge was a great success. Some lucky students were teaching all the classes in Scoil Mhuire how to play some Irish based games, thanks to Ms. Armstrong's assistance.
We're very fortunate to have Ms Leahy helping us out in Rang a Sé with our 'Guided Reading.' until Easter. I'm hoping she might stay and help us out with other such programs after Easter.
