Ms. Malone's Class
Céad míle fáilte to rang Ms. Malone. Spring is in the air!
We are also working on our listening skills, ending each day with a listening task.
In gaeilge we are covering the themes of An t-Earrach and Éadaí (Spring & Clothes). We have a few pictures of our ceolchoirm with 5th classes below.
In history our focus is now on the Land War in Ireland. We have learned some interesting facts about MIchael Davitt and had some fun with dividing land owned by absentee landlords into different plots using our own family names. Also on display in our classroom are our food chains which we covered in Science.
We continue to prepare for our 6th class masses each Wednesday and our focus in religion is now turning to Confirmtaion. We have a special Confirmation copy for this..
We have been doing Art in the style of different artists in paint, Monet (Impressionism) and Seurat (Pointillism). Photos will be here really soon.
99math is our new favourite website - we had great fun last week when we used the chromebooks to help consolidate our maths tables work.
Ms Brophy , has joined our class for a few weeks on her teacher training. She has been doing Gymnastics in PE with us which is great fun.
There has been alot going on lately with trip to Draíócht, Word Book Day and Seachtain na Gaeilge! Add in some Confirmation preparation and trying to keep on top of all of our other work!
Dorian and Rares celebrated their birthdays in March so a big Happty birthday to them.
